Thanks! > Hi Justin "Happy Easter" Thank you for the Thomas Hughes & Jane BODLE info. I recognize a lot of the Centre Co. names in their ancestry. Are you related? I found Thomas & Jane's marriage record in 1835 in Howard Twp. ~ this is the area where I'm now checking for my HEWES/HUGHS/HUGHES line, and Thomas could be a son of Henry b. c. 1785 in Ireland and Martha Jane b. Pa.. (many of the same names run thru our family.) The 1850 Census in Howard Twp., shows Thomas Hughs family: Thomas HUGHS, age 39 male Occup: Farmer (All b. in Pa.) b. 1811 Nancy " age 29 female b. 1821 Tamson " 13 male b. 1837 Elnora " 10 female b. 1840 John " 8 male b. 1842 James " 6 male b. 1844 Harriett " 4 female b. 1846 William " 9/12 Mos. Male b. 1850 Rebecca RED 13 female The next family in the census is John MCCALMONT. I wonder if Jane died and Thomas remarried? I couldn't find a marriage record in my books for a Thomas & Nancy Hughs.. This looks like the same Elnora Hughs, though. Does anyone else on the list group have any info! Thanks! Jean
