What I most like about this 1880 census is the search capability. These CDs are designed to be searched many ways-- You can of course search by first name, last name. You can search by last name You can search by last name, and birth year. You can search by first name, birth year. If one of your ancestors has a very unusual first name, do a search by first name only and you may get results. You can narrow down any search if you know the county. If you know the town or township you can narrow it down even further plus by clicking on neighbors you can see everyone who resided in that town/township. You can search by birth year and county using NO names. I entered the year 1810, clicked on female, and clicked on Centre.
