What were the sources used to compile this book? Hi Sue The book is published by the Centre Co. Gen. Soc., PO Box 1135, State College, Pa. 15804 - 1135 and is listed on their website. Printed in 1997. It states that it tabulates death records from "The Death Record Book 1 from 1893 -1903 and 2 from 1903 - 1905." There are a few loose pages at the beginning from an earlier volume which are included in the front of this book, They had to interpret hand written records, so there could be some transcription errors. Elizabeth Dutton and Joyce Adgate, photocopied the original records and Anne Keller, typing the manuscript A certified copy of the death cert may be obtained the the Centre Co. Courthouse, Office of the Regiser of Wills, Bellefonte, Pa 16832 for a fee. All of the books that I give info from I got at the Centre Co. Gen. Soc. or Friends of the Library. The "Cente Hall Reporter 1868 - 1890" book that I have came directly from Gerri L. Atikin. 1999 Have a great weekend. Jean
