    3. Hi I have been using the 1880 census CD-ROM since Christmas and love it. Because of the spelling variations, I have searched for people with given name, birth year and county and had a lot of luck finding families. For the families I have looked for, the transcriptions are very good. I have the 1880 census on microfilm, so can check that to verify. If anyone would like me to look up a family, I would be glad to. Suzanne Walkowiak Rice
