In the process of figuring out the Stamm family of Centre Co, some of whom later removed to Stephenson Co IL, I come up against several usages from earlier times strange to me: 1. "...buried Sunday in the new Cem. at Boals Gap..." as reported in a 5 Feb 1903 newspaper. Where is "Boals Gap" and what "new" -- as of 1903 -- cemetery might be referenced here? 2.
