A lister recently posted the web address for maps from the Census Bureau. There is another that is also excellent, and the maps are usable in most any project without a fee: Go to: http://www.graphicmaps.com/clipart.htm where you will see their usage policy, which permits many uses we as genealogists might make of these maps. Click on the link: "Outline Maps" and there click on the link for "USA States'"in the right hand column, which will take you to a list of links for each state. These maps are outline maps with county lines for each state in the US. There is no text, making them very versatile. The site also has other types of maps. Ellen Copper
