I am not sure if this is the same Samuel Lucas. I suppose it is possible that he had 2 marriages but on my grandmothers birth certificate it lists his middle name as Beachy. I am pretty sure he belongs to the Lucas-Quick line but I need some more solid evidence to confirm this. I have Mary Quick married to William Franklin Lucas. I have that Mary Quick was born in Pa. in 1860 and that her Father was Levi Austin Quick (1818) and mother Sarah Duffy(~1818). I was told that there is a book about some of the first families in that area it is by John Blair Linn "History of Centre and Clinton Counties Pennsylvania" 1883. I have not had a chance to look at it but it may contain some more information on the Quick family. Sorry thats about all the help I can give you I do not have much yet. Good luck in your search. 3. Although the church itself was organized in 1861 and the church building constructed in 1868, the cemetery was organized in 1872 and the earliest gravestones date from that year.
