Mrs. Dibert, known as Berdie, was born Oct. 24, 1895, in Altoona, a daughter of Charles and Armenta (Burns) Filer, and married J. Orville Dibert, who died April 10, 1956. Surviving are two sons, Jack and Jess of Sinking Valley; two granddaughters, three great-granddaughters, two great-great-granddaughters and three sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Williams and Mrs. Clara Kiley of Philadelphia and Mrs. Erma Kiley of Cape May, N.J. Friends will be received in Stevens Mortuary from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. -------------- DIBERT--Services for Mrs. Ella Alverta Dibert, resident of the Valley View Home, formerly of Sinking Valley RD 3, Box 176, will be held in the memorial chapel of Stevens Mortuary, 1412 8th Ave., at 10:30 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation in Brookline. Joseph Hardt officiated at the services which were held from the Hayes Funeral Home. Burial was in the Alexander Cemetery in Madera. Mrs. Harris was born Dec. 14, 1870, at East Freedom, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Smith. She had been making her home in Houtzdale for the past three years and prior to that time had lived in Marstella, Cambria County. She was married to Abraham Harris who preceded her in death 14 years ago. Author: poohbearbaby Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.centre/3140.4/mb.ashx Message Board Post: hey chris, hope all is well with you guys. so far what i have on william and diademma young is a few conflicting things about where they are buried. one paper i found says that diademma is buried in watkins cemetary on the homestead while another says summit hill and another romola. william supposedly is buried in lucas cemetary with george although if this is fact there is no headstone. another paper i found says that him and diademma are buried in summit hill cemetary. i will let you know if i find them and send you a pic of headstones if there are any. i am going back up and look for them. lately my friends think i enjoy hanging with dead people more than the live ones, lol. i also found that julia and james are buried in yarnell cemetary. i will send a pic of their headstones as soon as i get back up there. last thing i have a copy of a land deed where william bought land in beech creek from samuel smythe. i am going to scan this and send it to your email. i will let you! know when i find anything.
