Joseph Hardt officiated at the services which were held from the Hayes Funeral Home. Burial was in the Alexander Cemetery in Madera. Mrs. Harris was born Dec. 14, 1870, at East Freedom, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Smith. She had been making her home in Houtzdale for the past three years and prior to that time had lived in Marstella, Cambria County. She was married to Abraham Harris who preceded her in death 14 years ago.
