    2. Hi all! I was watching all these Marriage index go through, and was interested in knowing in this volume 1 book being discussed. Do you see a marriage between a Casper Ross and a Mary something, in the early 1800's? Please? 3. Regarding the Marriages 1800-1850 Centre county Pennsylvania......this book is not a complete listing of all the Centre County marriages during that time. I see that now, upon further examination of the book. Many/most of the early marriages recorded here are those performed by a Rev. William Stuart. 3. Checking a copy of Marriages 1800-1850 Centre county Pennsylvania, there is no George Larue, or anything close to that spelling. The book in which I looked for this, I just checked out of the State of Ohio Library today. It is compiled by Harold O. Thomen, and edited by Gladys Campbell Murray. 1. Re: [PACENTRE] Marriage index
    2. There are no 'official' lists of marriages pre-1885. Those found in church records, newspapers, etc., have been abstracted into the Thomen/Murray/Stover books, all of which are indexed on our CCGS CD. This is not to be construed as a complete list, for none exists; what we have is a reconstruction based on available data. If your ancestors were married in Centre County before 1885, in a church without records of marriage, and did not publish it in a newspaper or biographical record book in our county, and their family Bible is not among the few we have copies of at the library in Bellefonte, the marriage would not appear in our records. 3. Here, Here, Renee. A Lot of people in Pa. feel the same way about wild animals. They're wild for a reason, put here for a reason, and therefore should be respected. To many people have taken away their habitat and caused most of these problems. But they're not thinking they are responsible, pass the buck, kill, kill, kill. Hope they wake up soon before there isn't any animals left. Just my humble opinion. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 14, 2007 9:32 PM Subject: Re: [PACENTRE] Stories of PA > My appologies to the group.
