    1. [PACENTRE] Irish research
    2. cunhel
    3. This has probably been discussed before, but I'm going to stick my neck out there. Does anyone have a contact in Ireland who might be nearby and willing to do a look-up in a church in County Derry, Northern Ireland? I have posted queries to several Irish message boards with no response. I have been exploring my options this week and I am having sticker shock over the cost of doing family research in Ireland. We have information about an ancestor and the time and area that he lived. If anyone knows of a contact, I would be grateful for the connection. Michele DeParasis

    3. Hi, scanning through my husband's ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> - deceased) Family Tree data and as I was raised in WV we would have stewed tomatoes and bread broken up and stirred in the stew, but we didn't have dumplings. Now I wonder if the broken bread idea took the place of the dumplings. My background with ancestors from PA. 3. Bev, I have no direct Burket lines. However, my database as jkhouser84 at WorldConnect at Rootsweb.com has all the names I have, so you can check there for the Burket names. The Housers in Tyrone are no known relation, apparently going back to a line in Snyder Co. PA but they may be related back through Europe. I don't know. The Housers in Bellwood are related to me through Christian Houser and Mary Kelley. 1. Re: [PACENTRE] Questions of a more contemporary time
    2. Dear Fred, My father, Carl H. Weaver, went to high school with someone named "Tuffy" Krumrine. Dad graduated from State College Area High School in 1947, and he said that Tuffy had a bike shop in State College, and his name was Donald. The SCHS directory says that a Donald Krumrine graduated in 1947 in the same year as my Dad. My father had a stroke a year and a half ago, so I would check on this information, but I have found that his memories of the past are correct. Regarding Butch Lower, Dad remembers seeing him, but does not know his first name. I do have a number of resources to check, so let me know if you have any further information. By the way, the names I am looking for include: Weaver, Heckman, Vonada, and others. Good luck with your research! Let me know if I can help with any State College research. Debbie Nydegger

    3. Researchers of Emanuel Ebbs I I have just come across some valuable Ebbs family information that I would like to share. This shows connections of our PA Ebbs to Ebbs aIl over the county. It is just to much of a job for me to take on without taking forever. I would like to pass on what I have in hopes of not only helping someone else out there that might be looking for something, but possibly to also help the rest of us put some pieces together a little faster. It could also be that this is information some of you might already have I don't know. It's just an exciting find for me & of course a lot of work perfecting all those pieces. If anyone is interested in this information, please respond to new e-mail address [email protected] Susan

I have not been able to confidently identify her father. He may have been Frederick KRUMRINE b 5 Feb in PA. If anyone knows a link to the article "Center County Krumreins" from the PA Genealogical Magazine (I think), please list it here. Any information on these families gratefully accepted.
