I should say, it is proved back as far as the Richard Pace who is said to have married Elizabeth Cain. There seems to be no primary proof that the wife of Richard Pace d. abt 1775 was Elizabeth Cain. Or perhaps it exists and I have been unable to locate it. The only source I can find mentioned is the Barnabas Pace letter. Does anyone know of any proof of this marriage, or proof that a suitable Elizabeth Cain was present in the area at around the time Richard Pace is presumed to have married (abt 1723)? Thanks to anyone who can put me right on this. James __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! 3. It seems that no one has found any evidence to corroborate the statement in the Barnabas Pace letter that Richard Pace married an Elizabeth Cain. It seems also that no one has been able to identify a suitable "Elizabeth Cain" who might have been available for Richard Pace to marry. Thanks to those who emailed me.
