This is exciting as, as far as I'm concerned, brings life to the JOHN of Middlesex family ancestry. Recently, I went to the LDS FamilySearch.org web site and looked for MADDOX in the parish of St. Chads at PREES, Shropshire. To my surprise, there were several dozen MADDOX Christenings, marriages. I found the same for WRIGHT and GROOM and some others. There is, of course, some desire for elusive immigration records of John of Middlesex to Virginia around the year 1690 or before. The presence of these other surnames seems to give some credibility that JOHN PACE was not alone when he crossed from England to America. This may become a new phase of PACE Ancestry research, where we can look to the surnames in Shropshire and then possibly find the same people in Colonial America. I was in the process of collecting and listing these Shropshire, MADDOX, WRIGHT, GROOM and other surnames on web pages so others could look and possibly find similarities of given names of these surnames lists, in both SHROPSHIRE and Colonial AMERICA. Recently upgraded from Windows 98 to XP and will be a while to figure out all the fuss that goes with this. GTPace - Canada
