From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jan. 21, 2006. (ajc.com) Salvatore Joseph De Pace , 74, died Mon. (Jan. 16) at his Dunwoody residence. The body was cremated. He was a native of Providence, RI, who came to Atlanta in 1976 as a real estate developer and manager, and quickly became a leading figure in Atlanta's travel industry. Survivors include a son, David, of Phoenix; two daughters, Marie Heath of Dallas and Gigi Leavitt of Phoenix, six stepdaughters (named), two stepsons (named); a brother, John, of Phoenix, twenty-eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
