Darlene, I have a book entitled East Tennessee History which is reprinted from Goodspeed's History of Tennessee. It was reorganized and indexed by Sam McDowell. The only Pace in the index is James R. Pace, who was listed as Clerk of the Circuit Court of Hawkins Co TN from 1865-1870.
