Granted I have not found the Pace Name used as a first name, BUT JUST how many 1000's of people do you think have the First Name of William??? YES I am sure that William often came from Grand Ma Williams Family. My 5 Grt Grand Mother, Margaret Pace Married William Johnson BACK in the 1700's. One of the surest ways to find that, Hidden Cousin is to check JUST why that person has a first or 2ND name of the Family that you are researching. Whenever I find, Campbell, Harvey, Johnson, Perry. Wilmer, Mitchell, Powell, Martin as First OR Second Names, No mater WHAT the last name may be, MY question is where did your first/Second name come from. I find Cousins that way often.
