Here is a Nicolas Pace noted as desceased August 20 1788 in a Scotch Irish Settlement in Augusta Co Va...Vol 1 Augusta Co Va Court Records Page 254 I did a fast ck on Virginia 1790 Cen but Heritage Quest does not have it in.. I found this tho.. The 1790 census suffered district losses of Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, and Virginia ... Did this guy have any descend. ? Or did he die with out any Descend.? Scotch Irish Settlement was on line and I know a lot of these people migrated to Ky but at the time was not cking out Pace's .. I do know this was not a great place to live as they had a lot of stiff rules..and one could be imprisoned for breaking the rules, like walking on Sabbath more than needed to get to church. ... and people left the Settlement for more freedom ..
