John PACE, Jr. was not of Henry Co, VA. He married Zepporah/Zipporah KIRBY on 6 Mar 1798 in Warren Co, KY. She was the daughter of David and Elizabeth (TARRANT) KIRBY. David KIRBY took the oath of Allegience in Henry Co, VA on 7 Sep 1777 (VHM Vol. 9, 139-40). On 13 Nov 1782 he signed petitions of Bedford and Henry Co, VA. Zepporah was born 15 FEb 1778 during the years her parents lived in Henry Co, VA. John PACE, Jr. was the son of John PACE, Sr. (b 1 Jan 1749/50 Prince George Co, VA, d 1825 Greenville Co, SC) and his wife Ann RUSSELL (b 1752 Brunswick Co, VA, d 1790-1795 Spartanburg Dist, SC.)
