This is for the new member of the Pace group, Jon. Jon, I am also a descendant of William Pace and Ruth Lambert. My line goes from them through their son, John Pace, Sr. who was married to Sarah Anderson. John Pace, Sr. died during the War of 1812 in New Orleans as did his brother James Pace. My line goes like this: William Pace and Ruth Lambert Pace were my GGGGG Grandparents. John Pace, Sr. and Sarah Anderson were my GGGG Grandparents. John Pace, Jr. and Sarah [ Sallie] McCracken were my GGG Grandparents. Lenny Pace Lemmon and Robert Allen Lemmon were my GG Grandparents. Jefferson Davis Lemmon and Naomi Halbert Lemmon were my Great Grandparents. William Lambert Lemmon and Bess Tate Lemmon were my maternal Grandparents. Billie Jean Lemmon Little and Dorman D. Little were my parents. Me: Jane Ellen Little McEndree... My information is that William Pace, Jr. was born abt. 1750 in Franklin Co, N.C. and died on Nov. 30, 1834 in Rutherford Co, Tenn. Ruth Lambert was born abt. 1750 in Mecklenberg, Va. and died abt. 1800. John Pace, Sr. was born in, 1784 in Nash, N.C. and died on Jan. 8, 1815 in New Orleans, La. During the War of 1812. John Pace, Jr. was born on April 18, 1812 in Tenn. And died on April 7, 1874 in Ellis County, Texas. He is buried in the Pace Cemetery in Palmer, Texas. Lenny Pace Lemmon was born May 16, 1839 in Rutherford Co, Tenn. And died Sept. 27, 1867 in Texas. She is buried in Lancaster, Texas in Dallas County. Jefferson Davis Lemmon was born June 2, 1861 near Bear Creek near Lancaster, Texas and died Oct. 15, 1944 in Ferris,Texas in Ellis County. William Lambert Lemmon, my grandfather was born Oct. 1, 1894 in Trumbull, Texas in Ellis County. He died on Feb. 3, 1970 in Dallas, Texas. Notice that my grandfather's middle name was Lambert and he was named after Ruth Lambert Pace and his first name was William probably after Ruth husband, William Pace. There were several people in our family tree who had Lambert in their name. Good luck in your research. I do not have a male Pace from my line that I know of to have tested on the DNA. I wish I did. I would love to have someone in my direct Pace line tested. My family was big on naming kids after their ancestors. Jane Little McEndree Jane Little McEndree [email protected]
