Jon, I had heard that my G Grandfather's brother was James (O) Pace b. abt. 1840, some say 1846 MS. He has on his census in Franklin Co., AL that he was b. AL, but I am sure none of the children of Wyche/Wyatt H. Pace and Matilda W. Kirk were not born in AL. Wyche/Wyatt H. Pace was supposedly the son of Dempsey Pace and Miss HUNT. James Pace is on 1880 census, Franklin Co., AL., Township 7 Family History Library Film: 1254013; NA Film Number: T9-0013, Pg. 575A James Pace- self-MD-M-W-40-AL AL AL-farmer Josephine-wife-F-W-32-AL AL AL-keeps house Lewis Pace-son-s-m-w-11-AL AL AL-works on farm John Pace-son-s-m-w-8-AL AL AL Mattie Pace-dau-s-f-w-6-AL AL AL Mary Pace-dau-s-f-w-1-AL AL AL I cannot find any of this fmaily after THIS 1880 census. He would be brother to Lewis Cullen Pace, b. 1848 and married Mary Jane Benson- my G Grandparents- parents of Lonie Leona (Lucy L. on census- Franklin Co., AL) PACE married PACE, Joseph Benjamin Pace- my Grandparents.
