some similarity to names in Fluvanna Co.- anything the donor of the DNA can add to this would be helpful. George Lane b, abt. 1805, d. aft. 1870 m. Eliza W. Flanagan There are many Fluvanna Lanes related to this family but the curious thing is this-- George and Eliza apparently moved to Alabama and while There had two daughers. Fannie A.M. Lane and Sarah E. Lane on the later Fluvanna census they are back in Virginia and the census shows them to be born in Alabama. Fannie married a Widower,Edwin or Edward Cosby who was from Louisa County. After his death, Fannie was living with my Pace family as a boarder in 1900..( My mother referred to her as Aunt Fannie) in my family there was a story That Aunt Fannie burned to death while drying her hair in the fireplace. This must have taken place bet 1900 and 1910 because she was not living with my family in 1910,when Overton Ashby Pace was listed as head of Household. He was killed in December of 1910 and the family moved from there. as I have previously stated Edward Cosby attested to the facts on an application for my grgrandmother, Mary Ann Herndon Robinson, Rebecca Ann Robinson, who married John walker Pace b. 1843 Sarah E. Lane married James Houchens, son of John Chiles Houchens and all of these people are living close to my family. Could there be a connection to these Paces in Louisiana on the 1930 census Farmerville, Union, La E. L. Pace Head b. abt. 1851 Louisiana A. L.
