The bad guys are always trying to find ways to trick you into letting them into your computer, and I just received a new one that could trick a lot of people. The message seemed to come from Acer and said that the Acer computer that I ordered was on the way, and the attached file would give me the order number and shipping details. I didn't order any Acer computer and they are trying to get me to open the attached file to correct the apparent error. It was a .zip file and you should NEVER open such a file if you do not know the source and what it is. When it "unzips" it will automatically run some program that will put a malicious virus on your computer, or worse, allow the perpetrator to get into your computer, find your passwords, perhaps log your keystrokes, or use your computer to send email messages to thousands of others.
