GA Mil Numbers S.O. 16.059, S.C. 10.251, W.O. 17.175, W.C. 10.493 Bounty Land: Wt 32464-80-5 & Wt. 20271-80=55 Pace, William Service Pvt. Capt. Gideon Massie's Co. VA Mil Usually widow's files are the best because they usually list when and where they were married, their maiden names and their children's names, and possibly where they lived. Also, be sure to check and see if they also submitted an application for the Bounty Warrant Land. The BLM is just starting to index Bounty Warrants for the War of 1812 on their web site. It would be another record the National Archives might have that might mention these things , if your ancestor or his widow did not apply for a pension. So far, a few have been done for those who moved to the State of Arkansas. Good luck, Kim Stracener Zapalac
