Roy; Elizabeth Wade appears to be the daughter of Richard Wade. This Elizabeth Wade seems to have married a John Pace. I have no idea who the parents of this John Pace may have been. John Pace and Richard deeded land to, I believe a Daniel Wade. I believe this Elizabeth Pace was mentioned in the will of Richard Wade! I must also cite Raymond Ruch. I thought Raymond had put the Elizabeth Wade theory to rest. For what it is worth, William Pace and Mary gave their permission for their daughter Elizabeth to marry William Wilkerson Evans in Fluvanna County, Virginia. That marriage took place 7 December 1790. Later on, they signed for their daughter Susannah to marry Jackson Bellomy. Tnis marriage took place on 24 December 1800 in Fluvanna County, Virginia. It is my opinion this Mary was the mother of all his children. Edward Pace is cited by a descendant as saying William Pace was married to a widow Winegar and their children intermarried. I doubt this is correct. William Pace, Jr. married an Elizabeth Wininger but she was the daughter of David Wininger (1768-1885). Margery Pace married George Wineinger. George’s father was John A. Wininger (1755-1835). William Pace was long dead before either David or John might have left a widow!
