    3. I posted this request several years ago, but I'm hoping some new information might be available. I'm looking for some help with a 'missing person.' My great-great grandfather, Levi Hansel Pace, was a son of Burrell and Caroline Hipps Pace. He was born 8 July 1859 (as best I can determine-some records say as early as 1852) and was a twin brother to Henry Hazard Pace. He married Martha Emaline Capps about 1881 and had 5 children, including my great-grandmother, Anna Pace.. He and Martha separated (haven't found a divorce) and she raised the children.. I have located him in the census for 1900, living alone in Tryon township, Polk Co., NC. His brother, Henry, died in 1914 in Henderson Co., NC. I cannot find Levi in the 1910 census or in any Henderson or Polk records after the 1900 census. I surmise that he died at some point between 1900 and about 1914. I base this on not being able to find him in the census or in NC death certificates. It has been suggested to me that he might be buried at Mountain Page and that his grave was unmarked. This is at least a credible statement, but I am just wondering if anyone might have some old family document-letter, Bible, recollections, etc., that might suggest what happened to Levi Pace. Thanks for any information or advice.
