    3. A great find.. And it provides a realistic hitorical view of the daily lives of those folks. Regarding the discussion of Tories... does a "listing" of all those Paces who may have had their lands or property confiscated (and/or who left the area of North Carolina)  exist?  Sometime back, someone made a reference to that possibility, but I have not been able to find it. I know that an estimated 7000  "Tories" went to Ontario area of Canada after the revolution. If anyone has any information about any such reference work(s), I'll be happy to hear about it. Thanks! Dick Baribeau P.S. I am Still trying to find my Thomas Pace (estimated dob 1750-1760)_and his son named Solomon Pace (b. abt 1781 based on his age at date of death). He died in Quebec, Canada. Solomon's daughter, Elizabeth Pace, married my gggrandfather Michel.
