I can tell you who her parents weren't: Joseph and Ann Magee Pace were in Shelby County in that time period, and did have a daughter named Mary, b ~ 1832. She married a man named Jennings (probably in MO), and died after Nov 1887, as she is named in the will of her brother, Dr. David T. Pace. Don't know if that's much help, but at least you can eliminate that line of KY Paces.
