A document lists John R Pace in the lineage below as being born in KY but other records say VA. Easy to explain. He was born in 1791. Kentucky split from Virginia in June 1792. So he ws technically born in VA but might say he was born in KY since he probably grew up in KY. Here is the listing from the Donors page.
