Allen, Maybe no TYLER'S were registered by parents or doctor, or maybe there was an inapt county clerk at that time. When this was on RootsWeb abt 3 yrs ago, it also included mom's maiden name, but they had to pull the whole thing to "protect privacy." Sadly, the state apparently is not allowing FamilyTreeLegends to post the full record. It might be worth hunting up the real record. Imagine, finding out mom's maiden name! I just posted a picture of Presley Page Pace, born: 4 Jan 1830, Buffalo Dist., Wake Co., NC, who is the father of Mary Catre Pace whose picture has been on PacePix since 2002. I combined them. You can see them at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~pace/pacepix/MaryCatrePace/ Roy

He is number N5752 on the Results page, coming from the National Geographic study. The 12 marker DNA with its unique markers that only our John of M group has puts him definitely in the John of M. line. He is number N5752 on the Results page, clearly John of M. He came to us from the National Geographic study, which is the reason for the alphanumeric number instead of the completely numeric numbers used by FTDNA. But now I am a little confused myself. I assumed Bill was the submitter. But when I check William Charles Pace's address, it is not Arizona, but is Vail, Colorado. I will have to question them about this. Maybe William Charles is Bill's father. Bill and Nancy: The parents of your William Floyd Pace was James McClung Pace and Susanna Elizabeth Hawkins. James was b. 4/16/1851 in Edmonson Co, KY and died 3/21/1926 in Kansas. They married 11/22/1877 in Edmonson Co. His siblings were Tyra H. Pace, Jehru John Doc, Susanna (married a Blair) Presley O'dire, William Wall (had a son named Presley O.) Mary A., John W., Sarah E., Lettetia and Rachel. James was a son of Benjamin J. Pace b. 1801 VA, d 10/17/1859 Edmonson Co, and Catherine B. Hawkins b. 1811, d 1896, married abt 1828. Benjamin was a son of Edward M. Pace, Sr. b. 1761 Goochland Co, VA, d. bef 1820, married Susanna Johnson. With your information I was able to find James McClung Pace on the 1880 census of Edmonson Co, KY with wife Susan and son William F., age 1 (born in Edmonson Co, KY) They were also on the 1900 census of Haskell Co, Kansas with sons James P. and Frederick R. This census shows that they had been married 22 years and had 9 children. William Floyd Pace had apparently already moved out on his own. I don't know the names of the other children nor whether they were still living. Nancy you need to get Death Cert you seem to know when & Where they died with Luck it will give you name of parents this is something you should do anyway to document your family and then you know it right .. you should not take other people info, as half time it can be wrong, unless they give you their proof... Having said that I did look up the 1920 Cen and Finney Co on Heritage Quest index does not note 1910Census done for Finney Co KS so can't help you there you can join Ancestry.com free for so many days or if you can afford it sign up for full length.. also cancel before your free days up a few days before it up or you will be billed the full amount.. I know it happened to me... and takes you a long time to get your money back and it hard when you live on a fixed income... Greatgrand father was Floyd William Pace. Date, time, and where he was born is unknown. Died. unknown. Believed to have died in Kansas in the late 40,S. My father had 3 siblings. Frederick (or Floyd) Pace. He died in prison. Eunice Pace Graham. Last we know of her was in Zion, Ill. Do not know the date of her death. Peggy Pace Dixon. Murdered in her mid 30'S. Late 50'S. Anyone know anything about Rachel's family.?
this information was posted in this forum several years. Harmon Pace who is buried in Blandford Cemetery is supposed to be the son of Tarleton Pace and Virginia(Jenny) Haggard. He died at the age of 30 of pneumonia Corrections or additions are welcome. I believe Tarleton to be related to my John R.Pace b. 1809
Mary P. Champion and James (Henry? Lee?) Pace had a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Pace, who married Barret P. Shipp. They, also, had a son, Philip J. Pace, who married Mary V. Morris (per LDS).
