A few weeks ago, I dug out an old notebook I inherited. I can't connect all of the information in it to my tree but I figure it must connect somehow. The notes were written by Arlene Hollar (Summit Hill High School class of 1927 & faculty) of 43 E. Ludlow St. outlining mainly her mother's father (Lewis F. Rex)'s family. As my branch of Rexs spent 1739-1946 in Lehigh & Carbon Counties (Arlene's half-sister, my grandmother, moved away), I'm hoping someone can help me connect spouses of siblings where the spouses may be siblings and connect loose ends such as Alfred Mertz and Mary Ann (son Elmer died 11/13/1971 at age 84). There are also obituaries or lists of them in/on the pages that I can't connect or find. I'm hoping someone can help as it seems there was much entanglement between families in these counties.
