lehigh co. christian young, was married to lydia steckel, d/o peter steckel, she was born nov. 22, 1800, died feb. 15, 1886. children; maria w/o john deemer, of moore twp., charles married christina heckman, moore twp., elisabeth, w/o dr. c.o..yoch and william. mr. and mrs. young are bured at the old emanuel grave-yard charles o. wentz, was born at berlinsville, lehigh twp., northampton co. oct. 8, 1878. member of the envangelical ch. he died at walnutport in 1895. he married sarah, d/o john and sarah (rice) heffelfinger. she died in 1907 and is buried at berlinsville on oct. 24, 1744, the ship phoenix arrived jacob stephen. the name has been spelled differently-steffan, steffy, steffi, stevan, etc. his wife maria catharine. children, jacob, frederick, 1784, jonathan, issac, philip, magdalen, 1769, w/o john close, maria elisabeth, 171 w/o andrew klotz, elizabeth, 1777, w/o daniel hughes and catharine, 1778, w/o solome swartz lewis shoemaker, only son and heir of levi shoemaker, married 1875 to rosa a. seibert, d/o jonas of lowhill. children. maggie pollina, died age 5, edwin t. married ellen j. robenold, william h. of n.j., carrie m. married john m. kratzer, elmer t. married elsie rabenold jonas seibert, of claussville, father of mrs. lewis shoemaker, he died 1898 age 81. he married kitty ann peter, who died 1879, d/o casper of weisenberger, and they had 5 children; mary ann married solomon klotz, lizzie marrie phaon diehl, rosa anna, mathias married amanda kressly, alfred, single, died age 30. romig family john henrich romig, 3rd son of john adam, was born at ittlingen, feb. 15, 1729. on dec. 2, 1754 he married hannah volk. children; frederick, 1755, magdalena, 1758, joseph,1759, anna maria, 1763. his wife died oct. 17, 1763 and on the 14th of may the following year he married again to the widow maria elizabeth xander. whose maiden name as kiechel. this union was blessed with 7 children. he united with the moravian cong. in lynn twp. 1758. when the cong. in lynn disbanded in 1771, he united with the cong. at emaus. he died june 29, 1786. john george, 2nd son of william george. he moved to weisenberg. he died july 4,1886 and is buried at lowhill ch. he married maria (polly) werley. she was born jan. 8, 1809, died july 7, 1878 and is buried at lowhill. children; william married lydia werley, 2nd to mary kern, john, caroline married frank claus, fianna married jeremiah klotz, penrose married anna seibert, bennevill married helena seibert, amanda married seir smith, and aaron married maggie _ john george jr. 2nd son of john and maria george, was born at weisenberg, dec. 9, 1829, he died april 24, 1907. he married sallie klotz, d/o joel, of lowhill, children; james f. and oliver j. daniel hagenbach, s/o john of moore twp. member of the ref. ch. he married hannah steckel who died age 73. children; john married catharine heckman,jacob, mary married david heckman, peter married miss hawk, of nazareth, daniel marrid sophia hoch, stephen married sarah sholl. benjamin f. heilman, of lowhill, was born dec. 22,, 1842 he married 1868 to messina litzenberger, d/o william of north whitehal.children; llewllyn g. married emma werley, and harry a. married stella steinmatz and had 3 children-2 died in infancy, and mary married mary klotz. harry a. died 1904, age 35. daniel hunsicker, was born at heibelberg, feb. 9, 1789. he died feb. 12, 1866. he married elisabeth klotz. among their children. joseph and lewis james kern, jr. was born jan. 10, 1837, died april 17, 1912. he married matilda miller, born at neffs, pa, feb. 15, 1841. children, milton, married sadie shaller, oscar,, robert married mary alice long, howard married mary urias, maggie married calvin ritter, mabel married mervin heberly, cora,married edwin lauchuor, annie died march 20, 1908, married nathaniel klotz and they have paul and martus klotz. jonas kern, born dec.31, 1779, died, july 2, 1829, married jan 21, 1812 to maria leisenring.he moved to hamburg, where his parents later joined him. children; mary, peer of crawford co., elisabeth, sarah, dr. josiah kern, of siegersville, grad of jeff., 1846 born oct. 1,, 1825, died feb. 19, 1899.he married 1st mary stettler and 2nd to caroline klotz; j. frank, died june 16, 1903 aged 76, john kern of erie and william kern, who married mary klein. johannes krause, was born in germany, jan.9, 1712. he settled at heidelberg, lehigh co. he died june 12, 1795 john philiipp, son of johannes krause, was born jan. 3, 1753, and died jan. 9, 1798. he married a miss heckman, and had children. daniel krause, son of daniel and maria (rex) krause.. he married mary klotz and had children; lewis d., fietta, louisa, mary, owen and willam.
