My grandmother, Mildred Margaret Merkamp Lester, has been gone now since 1997. Her 4 children are still all living. My mother, Marlys Mildred Lester Redinger, included. My mother has 8 children. 45 Grandchildren. Approx.57 great grandchildren. The number grows every year. I always thought when great grandfather remarried there was only one other child born. A daughter. That she had red hair and it wasnt until later years even that my grandmother even got to meet her. She was around the same age as her oldest son. I believe she lives in Washington state.
