Werley, Daniel, of Lehigh County, moved to Albany township, Berks County. He married Harriet Greenwaldt. Children; Susan, married James Hamm of Weatherly, PA., Helen, married Joel W Miller, of Klinesville, Louisa, married Levi Hilbert, of Kutztown, Janetta, married John Greenwaldt, of Windsor Castle, Dr. Daniel, of Jordan, Lydia, married Alfred Greenwaldt, of Lyon Valley, James, and Harriet. Bartholomew, Joshua (Rev) of Virginville, Berks Co.,was born March 22, 1863, at Bath, Northampton Co., s/o Joshua and Sarah Anna (Bleirer) Bartholomew. Lewis Bartholomew, grandfather, was born in 1790 and died in 1875. He married Ann Smith Children; Rebecca; Matilda married William Snyder, Joshua; Anne married Joseph Fehnel; Amelia, married Edward Schearer, and Harrison, married 1st to Mary Ann Snyder and 2nd to Louisa Smith. Joshua Bartholomew, son of Lewis, was born in Northampton Co. He died 1907. He married Sarah Bleiler, d/o Solomon of Salisbury township, Lehigh Co. Children; Osborn, Oliver B., Lewis, Alfred A., and Rev. Joshua A. Barto, John, grandfather, of Rockland township. He married Dianna Angstadt. Children; William married ____ Merkel, David, Joel, married __ Dry, Jacob, unmarried, served in the Civil war, John, Obediah, died in KY, Amos, Hannah married David Kline, Helena married Jacob Mertz, Catherine married John Deysher, Esther married Daniel Brown, Amanda married Jonas Eckert and Caroline marrid Charles Heffner.
