Seeking the parents of Charles Kane and Lucinda Hoffner. Charles was born about 1848 in Mt Carmel. Lucinda was born about 1855 East Mauch Chunk. They were married 17 Feb 1872 in the First Presbyterian Church, as found on the LDS website. their children were Kate (m. Arthur Brown of Mauch Chunk; b. 1872), George H. (abt 1875), Emma (abt 1879), Charles Jr. (abt 1883) and Lewis (abt 1888). Is it possible to find out who the parents were for Charles and Lucinda from the church records? or County records? To whom should I write? Also: Charles Kane, Jr., was born abt 1883 in Mauch Chunk, he married an Emma about 1905. Emma was born abt 1887. In 1910 he, his wife and their children were living with his parents (above). Their children were Earl and Elizabeth, born about 1906 and 1909 respectively. Charles was in the 1920 census as Widowed. Daughter Elizabeth is also missing and presumed dead. Seeking the descendants of Charles and Lucinda. Any information appreciated. Dina in GA
