Bucks County Fell, Preston J., of Mechanics Valley, was born in Buckingham township, Jan 31, 1836, s/o Jesse and Pricilla (Sands) Fell, nativies of Bucks Co., and of English descent. Subject's grandfather, was Jonas Fell, who lived and died in Bucks Co. He had 10 children of whom 8 are living (1887), the first child, Lydia, the wife of Samuel Frankenfield. Frankenfield, Simon, of Coopersburg, grandson of Adam, was born on the ocean while his parents were on their way to this country. they settled in Springfield township, where Adam lived his life, dying about 1827. He was married 3 times, his second wife being the mother of Philip, who was Simon's father, and who was born on the home farm near the Springfield Church,removing after his marriage to the place where Simon now lives, he married Elizabeth Rinler, who died 10 years before husband at the age of 52. They had 8 children; Hannah, Caroline, John, and Josua lived in Bethlehem, Adam and Samuel, Springfield township, David of Lehigh county, and Simon, who was born Aug 30, 1822. He married in 1849 to Eliza Brinker, who was born in Lehigh county in 1828. They had 11 children; one of whom, John Wesley is deceased, Catharine lived in Berks County, Adaline,the wife of John Ricert and they lived in Ohio, Emma, of Monroe County, wife of Monroe Grow, of Northampton county, William, Alicethe wife of Frederick Peffer, of Springtfield township, Edwin, in Landsdale, Henry, Sallie, Caroline, and Emma. Montgomery County-Frankenfield Luther Frankenfield, was bonn at Sundale, PA, Jan 21, 1873, s/o Henry and Eurania (Hillpot). On his father's side, he is descened from Simon and Eva. Simon's son, Adam was born between 1746 and 1748. Michael, 2nd son of Adam was born in 1772. His son, Michael, born in 1809, was the father of Henry, father of Luther. Henry Frankenfield, was born in 1839, his wife was born May 27, 1846, and died in 1867. Children, Horace, born 1867, died 1904, J. Eli, who was born 1869, Henry Herbert, born 1871, Luther, and Miriam, was born 1879, married Reuben Fabin, a brother of Mr. Frankenfield wife. On Aug 2, 1902, Luther maried at Revere, in Bucks county to Ida Rebecca Fabian, d/o Casper and Katharine ("Sigafoos:) Fabian. Children; Frank, born 1903, Henry andHoward (twins). Frankenfield, Harry, The name of Frankenfield is well known in the southeastern part of PA. Harry is the s/o Abel and Mary (Hager) Frankenfield. Henry, son of Adam, moved to Haycock township, in 1808 he purchased 65 acres of land from one Jacob Harwick. He married Catharine Weaver, they had 2 sons and 1 daughter. Henry2, son of Henry1, married Anne Datesman, d/o Jacob and Elizabeth (Schellenbeger) Datesman, of Hilltown township, of Montgomery county. Children; 1 Mary, born in 1832, married 1st in1855, Abraham Youngken, s/o Nicholas and Mary Youngken, of Nockamixon township, he died in 1856, she married 2nd in 1861, to Aaron Zeigenfoss; to the 1st marriage one son was born Abram F., children of the 2nd marriage, Ellamanda, Anna, Mahlon, Henry and Harvey. 2. Elizabeth, born 1835, married in 1853, William S. Nase, s/o David and Maria Nase of Springfield township and became the mother of 2, an infant died young and Harvey. 3 Jonas, born 1838, he 1860 he married Catharine Atherholt, d/o Joseph and Catharine (Deaterly) Atherholt of Haycock twp., and they had 2 children, Sarah and Edwin. 4. Mahlon D. born 1841, he married 1st in 1866 to Jennie Maust, d/o of Jacob, she died in 1867. He married 2nd to Catharine Fulmer, d/o John. Children; Asa, Emma, Laura, Ira, Alice, Mahlon, Catharine, and Maggie/ Abel, son of Henry2 was born 1848. In 1871 he maried Mary C. Hager, d/o John and Diana (Sossman) Hager of Montgomery Co. Children; Adin, Annie and Harry. Harry, son of Abel, was born in Haycock township Dec 16, 1878. He married at Quakertown, June 14, 1913 to Elsie May Fox, d/o George D., and Mary M. (Trauger) Fox of Ferndale, Children; Ethel Irene, born June 14, 1914 and Harriett Eugenia, born March 4, 1917. Best Wishes, Geri
