Anna Christiana, NC Line, was born in 1760 of German descent, soldier lived in Mecklenburg, NC at enlistment. In 1801 soldier lived in Cabarrus Co., NC and he applied 1832 in Rowan, NC and later he moved to Iredell, NC, and he died there 10 June, 1843, soldier had married 27 Oct 1801 in Cabarrus, NC to Anna Christiana Huber or Hoover, and soldier's name was shown as Lipe, also a Leonard Lipe signed marriage bond with soldier, widow applied 1853 in Iredell, NC, aged 77. In 1853 soldier's son Abraham Lipe made aff'dt in Rowan, NC and referred to a large family of brothers and sister, soldier's daughter Dorothy Hoover stated in 1853 that she lived a short distance from her father's farm when he died. In 1869 soldier's only surving children were Dorothy Hoover and Nancy Hartline. In 1859 Solomon Hartline and Edward Hoover were witnesses to aff'dt. Space, John,NJ Line, soldier's daughter Betsey Bird signed p.o.a. 6 May 1831 Luzerne County, it was stated soldier died leaving children in who on 6 May1831 were; Betsey Bird, Nancy Daley, Margaret Jackson, Elsie Hoover, Sally Muscoe, John Space, Zepheniah Space, James R.
