lehigh co. arner, henry, s/o william and grandson of felix, was born in lehigh co. and was taken as a child to carbon co in 1817 he rented a farm in mahoning twp. he was a member of the german reformed ch. and he is buried a beck's ch. in his native twp. his 1st wf was catharine moyer and they had 6 children, ammon, tilghman, daniel, elisa w/o benjamin koons, louisa w/o zachariah h.long, abigail 1st w/o mr. hunsicker, 2nd to amos riegel. henry arner married 2nd to harriet hainey and they had children, thomas j., henry b. mc., william j., joseph d., ellen k., w/o charles f. ross, emily, w/o maurice montz, and sophia j. married 1st to george siglen and 2nd to joseph turnbach. ammon, 2nd son of henry, was born feb. 2, 1822, on april 18, 1848 he married annie beltz, d.o john and hannah (hummel) beltz, of mahoning twp. he died about 1900 and is buried at beck's ch. his wife died nov. 17, 1901, age 70. children;
