My family lived in what is now Carbon County in the 1840's and early 1850's. What church would Irish Catholics attended during that period? I am looking for possibly marriage and baptismal records. I'm not sure if the Kane family information that I have is the family that you are researching. I have a little info on Charles Kane that married Lucinda Hoffner.
