A few years ago I stumbled across Sarah's obit. on microfilm at the library in Jim Thorpe. Nothing was mentioned abt. her parents names, but it did say that she was from the Lizard Creek area in Carbon County. William and Sarah lived in Parryville and that is where my 2nd great-grandmother, Cassandra (Rinker) Montz lived until her death. She was married to Cassius Jacob Montz who also was from Parryville. Cassandra's death certificate comfirms what another poster wrote that Sarah's last name was Lauer. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
