I am searching for my Redgate family that left Lansford, Summit Hill, Mauch Chunk area and went to New Jersey. I found them in New Jersey in 1890 or there about. But then when I go to the next census for New Jersey, they are no longer there. I wonder where they went from there. If anyone is familiar with this name I hope you can help me. The last time I saw them in Carbon County was 1880. They are Andrew Redgate and his wife Maggie Boylan Redgate, Andrew Redgate Jr, Ellen Redgate, Margaret Redgate, and George Redgate. Andrew's older sons John and William married and stayed in the Lansford/Summit Hill area. But I am unable to find any of the others. I do know there are many Redgates in New York and New England areas.
