Reuben and Amos are part of a very large family and is the older brother of my ggrandfather Amandus. But.... I have Amanda's parents as Solomon Eckhart and Verona Strohl. Both Reuban and Amanda are buried at Long Pond Cemetery, in Monroe County Pa. I have a book on Elizabeth Meckes family and It lists the following information on your Reuben and Amanda. Reuben Keiper (John, Valentine, Conrad) was born 28 Jul 1846 in Pa. Reuben died 18 Jun 1924 in Tunkhannock Twp, Monroe Co, Pa, and was buried in Long Pond Cemetery, Tunkhannock Twp Monroe Co, Pa. He married Amanda Eckhart about 1869. She was born 2 Feb 1854 in Pa, the daughter of Solomon Eckhart and Verona Strohl. Amanda was christened 20 Feb 1853 at Jerusalem Union Church at Trachsville. The sponsors were Adam Eckhart and his wife Harriet. Amanda died in 1929 and was buried in Long Pond Cemetery Tunkhannock Twp. Monroe pa. They had 9 children: Alice Keiper b. 19 Jan 1870, d: 17 Jul 1952 Lenora Keiper b: abt 1874 Monroe Keiper b: abt 1879 Anna Maria Keiper b: Jan 1886, d: Jul 1973 ? Keiper b 26 Aug 1888 d: 19 Aug 1889 Johnson kjeiper b: Mar 1890, d: 19 Feb 1956 Effie Keiper b: 10 Apr 1892 d: 27 Dec 1982 Ada Mae Keiper b: 29 Apr 1894 d: 9 Jun 1967 Silas Clair Keiper b: 9 Jun 1898 d: Mar 1988 Reuban Keiper lived his entire life in Monroe County. Rev. Frank W. Smith performed his funeral services.
