Does anyone have any info on the Schell family of Northampton (later Monroe and Carbon Co)? This is different that the Shelly family. There was a David Schell who married Elisabeth ?. He was born abt. 1797 and died before 1870 (from census records). Elisabeth was born about 1800 and died after 1870. They had two children that I know of Lena (b. Feb 1823 and died 12.23.1902, buried at Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, Ashfield) and Uriah (b. 10.15.1838 and died 11.16.1911, also buried at Dinkey Memorial. Lena married Daniel Shelly about 1846. They had 8 children: 2 died as infants that I don't have names for; David (1849), Lydiann (1850), Sarah Ann (1855), Uriah (1858), Jerome (1859) and Mary Jane (1863). Searching through St. John's Church Records (Towamensing), I've found a Ludwig and Elisabeth Schell, which I have no record of. Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks. Michelle
