Hi, Michelle, Do you remember me?? Seems like you're still at it! Back in March 2002, you were looking for Amelia (STROHL), who married Emanuel BERGER! I have the STROHL books still cooking, and I noticed in your recent post, that you have a little new info that I didn't yet have. Would you mind if I include it in my Peter STROHL book, and credit YOU with this information, specifically:: (I still have a Footnote with your name on it!) . . . .That William re-married Harriet (ARNER), widow of Isaac ZIEGENFUSS. I didn't know her maiden name, nor her previous husband. Nor did I know WHY there was a youngster named ZIEGENFUSS in that household! This is so helpful to the scope of that particular book, remember, the Peter STROHL Book. That has been one of the HARDEST connections I've ever had to make---the one of Lovina dying, and Harriet coming in around 1860 and continuing the family! I was so proud of myself when I put all this together, but even happier when I read, L.. Wesley ARGO's book called "French, German, and Swiss Links in Pennsylvania...Descendants and Ancient Ancestors----Bertsch, . . . . ., Strohl, Thom, and Troxel" Wesley has made the same connection!!! So I felt even MORE comfortable when I read your email concerning this family, too. By the way, I have Levina/Lovina's parents as Peter BLOSS and Maria ( ? ), and she was born on June 23, 1828. "BLOSS" was the spelling on her headstone, if I remember correctly. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a new email since we last corresponded, if you will please drop me a reply: < [email protected] > If you have me in your address book, please change it. Thanks, my dear. Let me know if you hear of any other infor on this family---I am updating the Peter Book as we speak, and would like to assimilate the new data. Thanks, Evan R. STROHL Florida
