Just posting this obit because it was on the same page as an obit I tracked down for an RAOGK request.] The Allentown Morning Call Allentown, PA Wednesday, November 16, 1921 Page 7 Christian Sandherr died at the Palmerton hospital Monday, following an operation for hernia, aged 73 years. Mr. Sandherr was employed for many years as a pattern maker at the old Stroh foundry, but late years lived retired. He served in the Civil War and was a member of the Mauch Chunk G. A. R. Post. His widow and the following sons and daughters survive: Samuel, a barber; Charles, George and Mrs. S. E. Miller, of Mauch Chunk; Mrs. Nettie Compton, of Tamaqua.
