He was born Jan 21 1848, s/o Thomas and Anna H. Horn. The doctor was the 4th in order of birth. In 1873 he married Adaline Montz, d/o Joseph Montz, of Lehighton. Children; Mattie M., Bert T. and Anna M. Brothers of Dr. Charles T., Dr. J.A., of Mauch Chuch, Edgar A., George B. M. of Chicago Horn, Charles R. was born Oct 13, 1863, s/o M. H., and Matilda L. (Heller) Horn, the former a native of NJ, latter of Easton. Grandfather Horn removed from NJ to PA Charles R., in 1886 married Blanche Thomas,who was born in Parryville, Carbon Co. Her father, James Thomas. Children; Isabella Traill, Catharine Richard, James Thomas, Blanche and Mary. Members of the Lutheran Church. Lehigh Co Abraham and John Horn were brothers who settled in Allentown and Easton. John Horn, was born Jan 10, 1754, and died Nov 25 1800, he married Oct 25, 1775 to Magdalena Troxell, who was born June 20, 1756, and died June 13 1823. Children; John born 1766, died1824, married Elizabeth Herz. Catharine, born 1777, Susanna, 1779, Jacob 1781, Abraha, born 1784, Barbara 1788, Magdalena, 1790 and Samuel 1796. Abraham Horn, ws born Dec 31, 1756 died May 21, 1826. Sgt in the Rev. War. Lt. Col in the War of 1812. He married Susanna, d/o Melchior Hay. She was born May 18, 1760, died June 28, 1827. Children; Abraham born 1778, War of 1812, John, War of 1812, Catharine born 1779, Samuel, Joseph and Melchior Horn was born Dec 29 1786 and died May 31 1863. He married Isabella Traill, d/o Robert and Elizabeth. She was born Oct 10, 1786, and died April 24, 1841. Children;Sybilla, Robina, Robert, John J., Isabella R., Melchior H., of Catasuaua, Enoch H., Philip H., Sarah and Maria. He married a 2nd time and had one son, William. Col. Melchior Hay Horn, who died at Catasaqua in 1890 was a descendant of Abraham Horn (born in Phila.) of Easton. Abraham married Susan Hay, d/o Melchior Hay, of Easton, came here 1738.
