I'm looking for two Zacharias families: 1- a Sallie (possibly Sarah given the nicknames of the region in this time), born about 1822. She married Edward Berger (Borger) about 1840. Edward was baptized at the Salem Union Church in Gilbert of Chestnut Hill Twp., on Dec 6 1818, he was born on Sept 16 1818. The year that I have for Sallie is from the census which is known to be inconsistent too. I know that she was a Zacharias from 2 sources, one is her son's death certificate and the other is the baptism records of her children. The children are (Bergers): John b. July 16 1841 George b. Apr 20 1844 Katherine b. Jan 23 1845 Charles (my gg grandfather) b. Oct 14 1847 Maryann b. abt 1849 Paul b. abt 1852 Sara Elizabetha b. Dec 11 1855 Lydia Ann b. Feb 10 1860 Lucinda b. 1860 ??? Emma b. abt 1863 2- also looking for an Elizabeth Zacharias who married Nicholas Strohl. I have no dates from them. Their daughter was born in 1810 so I'm guessing between 1770-1790. This family was more in Lower Towamensing area of Carbon & Monroe Co (originally Northampton Co), PA. Thank you to anyone who could help me. Michelle
