Just posting this obit because it was on the same page as an obit I tracked down for an RAOGK request.] Sunday Call-Chronicle Allentown, PA Sunday, April 3, 1983 Page B16 Mrs. Mary Hascin, 60, of 832 Lehigh St., Jim Thorpe, died Saturday in Allentown Hospital. She was the widow of Emery Hascin who died in 1976. Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Susan (Firitz) Scapura. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe. Surviving are two sons, Joseph and David, both of Jim Thorpe; a daughter Delores, at home; two brothers, John of Lansford and Steven, in New Jersey; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Goides of Lansford and Mrs. John Kokinda of Nesquehoning, and six grandchildren. Services at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the John H. Ring Funeral Home, 218 Center St., Jim Thorpe, will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in the church. Calling hours will be Monday evening.
