George and Laughlin.Going by 1850 census records I believe George was born around 1827 or 28 and Laughlin 1828 or 29. Another direct descendant of Laughlin says their family history (letters) state that Laughling was born in Mauch Chunk.I cannot be certain of George as I am not even sure if James and Mary were married before he came to Mauch Chunk or they got married there.I have been told her maiden name was ODonohue but have nothing to back that up..By 1840 the family had moved onto OH. I am 99% certain that the family was Catholic.Any chance of any records of any type to be found for a family that was in the area for such a short time and so early?
