I also have Gallaghers in my ancestry. My ggrandfather was Condy Gallagher married to Anna Elysia Whalen. He was from Ireland and she was from N.Y. I have searched and searched for both of them in New York and can't seem to find them. They had several children. Their Daughter Frances (Fanny) was my grandmother. She died in Childbirth. But she was married to William Redgate. They lived in Lansford, PA. We also have Dougherty. One of the Gallagher children married a Emmet Dougherty. I also had an Ellen Coyle married to Andrew Redgate and Ellen died in 1863 in Philadelphia. I do remember seeing Owen Coyle in different census'. I would love to find a link somewhere. The Gallagher children were baptized in St. Josephs Church in Summit Hill.
