He married a woman named Jane, possibly McGinley about 1867 in PA. She also was born PA according to censuses. I located Robert in Allegheny Co, PA. in several censuses. Do you have names of John GUMBERT's grandchildren, possibly one named Robert? The other clue I have is the family I'm researching was in the Tamaqua area in 1850s; thus, a possible link to Gumberts at an earlier time. Can reply email or on this messageboard.
