    3. An accounting document from Easton, Northampton County, Recorder of Wills office shows the accounting for the estate of John Klotz, deceased, filed Mar. 8, 1828. A list of "notes and due bills due from the following persons viz. Note, Nicholas Foeller to Daniel Oyster, Date 1817 Due bill, DAvid Seller (Keller?) to Joshua Kocher, Date 1812 Due bill from Jacob Weiss, Date 1816 Receipt paid Henry Hartman for Jacob Weiss, Date 1817 Receipt signed Thomas Weiss received from Andrew Fritz, Date 1815 Order from Jacob Horner on Tho. Weiss favor John Klotz, Date 1809 Order from George Shaad on Jonathan Margerum favor of John Klotz, date 1811 Due bill from Jacob Klotz date 1823 NOTE, JAMES MCDANIEL TO ANDREW FRITZ DATE 1815 Note from Christian Miller to John Klotz and Christian 1815 James McDaniel was born 1793, Christian Klotz was born 1789. Christian married Elizabeth McDaniel, James' sister; James McDaniel married Lydia Klotz. It is probable that Lydia Klotz is Christian's sister but no proof has been found. Does anyone know which John Klotz died in 1828, was it John the father of Christian or John the brother of Christian? Any suggestions appreciated. There is a later John Klotz will mention at Easton, that John died about 184?. I should think this would be the brother of Christian, son of John of this accounting but I'm not certain if this is the case. If someone has an interest in the accounting please contact me and I will e-mail you scanned copies. It is a very full accounting of the items in the estate, gives you a good idea of the household and working items in an estate of a mill owner. Judy
